This has to be one of the year's most shocking splits in Hollywood. Katie and Tom married in 2006 and although critics were dubious, TomKat certainly proved them wrong for a while.
The loved up couple were married for six years and in that time produced one of the most famous kids in show business, Suri Cruise.
Katie filed for divorce earlier this year after she allegedly became desperate to leave Tom due to his lifestyle choices.
Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis
Although every woman's heart sang with joy at the news of this split, we also felt rather sorry for the pair.
Although they weren't married, they had been together for 14 years and had two children together in that time.
There wasn't even a whisper as to why the couple called an end to their relationship but Johnny has been linked to a number of women since - damn.
Heidi Klum and Seal
We really didn't see this one coming! Heidi and Seal were one of the most loved up couples in Celebville so it was a massive surprise to hear of their split in January.
Before the split, the couple were throwing PDAs left, right and centre and were constantly renewing their wedding vows.
Sadly, the couple split due to 'irreconcilable difference' and Seal has since been very vocal about his discontent with their marriage.
Taylor Swift and Connor Kennedy
Okay, there weren't exactly a serious relationship, considering there were only together a matter of months, but it was certainly surprising.
We assumed that after Taylor had bought a house right next to the Kennedy compound that they would be together for quite some time!
But it was not meant to be, the couple split in October with Taylor beginning promo tours for her new album, although rumour was that they thought they were getting 'too serious, too fast' - you don't say!
Rita Ora and Rob Kardashian
It was never officially confirmed that these two were together and, to be honest, we didn't have much of a clue until their apparent split!
Rob made huge claims on Twitter that Rita was 'cheating on him with 20 dudes' and that she let him 'get her pregnant'.
He later deleted the tweets but the damage was already done and the headlines already written which we're assuming meant the end of their relationship.
Rihanna and Chris Brown
Although they never officially confirmed anything, Rihanna recently posted that it sucks to be single on her Twitter.
Although that doesn’t confirmed whether or not they were actually an item, there was much speculation as Chris reportedly split with his previous girlfriend in order to get back with Rihanna, and they did spend a lot of time together!
To make it even more confusing, there are now reports that Chris never actually broke up with Karrueche Tran, despite numerous sources claiming that he and Rihanna were an item once again.
It’s certainly one to mess with our heads, so who knows what the relationship status of these two will be by next week!
