Celebrate who you are as a couple- Think about your relationship and what makes you unique. You're not a perfect pair and you've had some hard times but you've got through them and still manage to make each other laugh and enjoy each other's company. You may be quirky and do things differently to your couply friends or your attached family members but that's what makes you special.

Celebrate where you've been- This could be literally or metaphorically. Think about the places you've travelled together- close by and far away. Couples underestimate where they've been to during their courtship so make a list or a create scrap book of memories and plan for your next destination together.

Go over your history- your situation when you first got together and how far you've come now. Now you're more established as a couple it can be easy to forget the sacrifices and efforts you made to see each other, even for a short space of time.

Celebrate where you're going- Every couple has future plans so make sure that they're shared and agreed upon and put steps in place to be able to achieve your joint goals. Whether that's making a 'things to do list' or putting money aside to make your joint dreams come true. Take comfort in growing old together.

Be thankful to those who get you there- As a couple, you will get help and advice along the way from others in relationships. Their words and actions may not all be for you but when something strikes a chord be sure to thank them for their contribution and remind each other how lucky you are to have them in your lives.
