Justin Timberlake stars in Inside Llewyn Davis this weekend so we have a look at his romantic past.
Justin met Britney Spears in 1999 on the set of The New Mickey Mouse Club, however their time together only lasted until 2002 when they had a very public split. It is rumoured that Timberlake’s song ‘Cry Me a River’ is about their relationship. The video featured a woman who looked just like Spears, which encouraged rumours that she had been unfaithful while dating him and she hit back with her song Everytime.
In an interview in Rolling Stone magazine following their split, he said; ‘I may not ever get over her. I really do still love that girl.’
In 2003, he dated actress Cameron Diaz following their first meeting at the Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Awards. In 2006 the couple broke up after the media followed their relationship closely, publishing articles about their rocky partnership. They later appeared in Bad Teacher together as each other’s love interests.
In 2007, Timberlake dispelled the rumours about his supposed affair with Scarlett Johansson after the pair met on the filming of his video ‘What Goes Around Comes Around’.
In January 2007, Timberlake was photographed on many occasions with actress Jessica Biel. They kept quiet about the romantic entanglement until their split in 2011 after four years of dating.
He later proposed to Biel in the mountains of Jackson, Wyoming in December of 2011. They got married on 19th October 2012 at Borgo Egnazia resort in Fasano, Italy.
