Katie Piper is building her forever home

The 38-year-old TV star - who is married to carpenter Richard Sutton and has daughters Belle, eight, and Penelope, four, with him - explained that carrying out "massive renovations" on her London home has been "stressful", she is sure that everything will be "lovely" in the end,

She said: "A few months ago we started building our forever home and we're doing a massive renovation. I've had to be around to choose tiles and all those exciting interior decisions. It's quite stressful but when it's done, it will be lovely."

Katie has recently launched her own magazine show 'The Katie Piper Breakfast' show - which airs on ITV on Sundays at 8:30am until September 11 - and explained that the opportunity was "perfect" for her because it fits in with her lifestyle.

She said: "It's something I've wanted to do for a long time and I've got two kids, so this is perfect for me and my schedule. I'm going to be waking the nation up every Sunday morning - but for me it's practically a lie-in because I'm used to getting up so early with the kids."

Meanwhile, the 'Loose Women' panellist- who has a career in writing outside of television and has published an array of self-help titles and autobiographies - has recently finished her debut children's book 'All You Need' and roped her daughters in as "unwitting consultants" for the project which aims to boost the self-esteem of little ones.

She told HELLO Magazine: "Unwittingly, they've consulted on the whole project. They were like my little focus group, giving loads of feedback! It's been really great processing it with them. I would ask them things like 'When do you feel good?' and 'What does that feel like in your tummy? In your head?'. It's a book to raise their self-esteem without them knowing."

'All You Need' is set for release on 17 February 2023.
