The 'Love Island' winner became a dad on Friday (24.01.20) to baby daughter Blossom, but he has already set out some rules as he won't let her sign up for the ITV2 dating show when she's older.

Speaking at the National Television Awards, he is quoted by The Sun newspaper as saying: "I probably wouldn't let her go on 'Love Island'.

"I've been on it so I can tell her she wouldn't like it."

Jack, 29, coupled up with ex-girlfriend Dani Dyer, 24, on the popular show, but called it quits March shortly before his fling with the mother of his child, Casey Ranger.

The new parents didn't want to tell anyone about the pregnancy at the time.

He added: "I'm loving fatherhood. But not nappy changing - it stinks. I can't stop staring at her though she's beautiful.

"I kept the pregnancy a secret so her mum could have a peaceful pregnancy and she did.

"Everyone from 'Love Island' has been in touch to wish me well and it made me cry."

Dani was also left out of the loop as she first heard the news when he announced the birth on Instagram on Saturday (25.01.20).

When asked if she knew about the baby, Dani said: "No of course not! No news! When everyone else found out, I found out."

However, she offered her congratulations to Jack, whom she dated for almost a year, saying: "Everyone loves a baby, congratulations!"

Jack announced his surprising baby news on Instagram over the weekend.

He wrote: "I'm normally a very open book and share most of my life on my social media. This blessing I chose not to. I'm just a normal geeza, who went on a tv show, which throws you straight into the public eye...which I will forever be grateful for. However I knew for myself I needed personal time and to keep this part of my life private to prepare for this new responsibility and part of me that will change my life forever.

"This is undoubtedly the best thing that has ever happened to me and it's true what they say, the instant feeling of love and connection you have with your child is a feeling like no other.

"I want to thank my family and friends for your continued support, also to my little girls mother, who has been totally AMAZING throughout. Although we are not together we are great friends as we have been for many years and our priority is co-parenting our beautiful baby girl. Both mum and baby are doing great.

"I am now a proud dad to a healthy baby girl Blossom Fincham born 8lb 2oz on 24th January 2020 (sic)."
