Douglas Booth will romance Hailee Steinfeld in a new adaptation of William Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet.
The 19-year-old actor, who played gay pop star Boy George as a teen in a TV movie, has been cast as the male lead as the cast for the film comes together around 14-year-old 2011 Oscar nominee Steinfeld.
Variety reports Holly Hunter, Kodi-Smit-McPhee and Ed Westwick are also attached to the project, which will shoot in Italy this summer (11).
Booth teamed up with Time Lord Matt Smith earlier this year when they arrpeared together in BBC drama Christopher and His Kind as well as taking on the role of Eustace in Pillars of the Earth.
He has already completed work on LOL - which also stars Ashley Greene, Miley Cyrus and Demi Moore.
