David Beckham covers Elle for July 2012
David Beckham has become the first ever solo man to cover the prestigious fashion magazine ELLE.
We've been waiting for this magazine for what seems like a lifetime since it was announced that they would be celebrating the London Olympics in a very manly fashion.
Beckham was photographed by Doug Inglish for the magazine and will feature in a 11-page spread.
Whilst he may have his top on for the cover there is an image of him emerging from the pool with just a pair of shorts - the shot that we're all most interested in.
In the exclusive interview the sports star spoke to ELLE about adding a daughter to his brrod, what fame means to him and sharing a work/life balance with wife Victoria.
He said about attedning Victoria's A/W 2012 presentation in New York:
“I think it was always important for Victoria to do her own thing. She doesn’t run on a field with me and I don’t want to get in the way of her. But I was honoured to be there this time, because there was a lot of pressure this particular season, just because she’d been having the baby and people were saying “Maybe this season won’t be so good”... but it was unbelievable.”
