To dream of gratitude could mean that you are recently grateful for something that you once overlooked.

Perhaps you are thankful for someone in your life who you took for granted before, or maybe you are seeing something in a new light that previously passed you by. If this sounds familiar, congratulations, better late than never.

The dream could be urging you to be more grateful for the things you have and the people in your life if you are taking things for granted lately.

Perhaps you constantly want more and forget about how far you’ve come and what you have at present.

It may be time to focus on being grateful for the present and the past rather than yearning for more in the future. Ambition is healthy, but not when it belittles everything that has gone before. Remember your roots.

It’s possible you need to show someone how grateful you are for what they have done for you lately. Perhaps you haven’t thanked them for their efforts, their time or their presence and it’s important that you do.

It may be wise to return the kindness they showed you to repay them or seek out ways to help others out in the same vein.

Do you need to be more grateful for the smaller things in life? If you tend to overlook the simple things that you should be thankful for, now might be the best time to start.

Say thanks for the hot shower you take on a morning, for your means of income even if you don’t enjoy it or the roof over your head even if it doesn’t look the way you want it to and you may be surprised at just how many things you already have to be grateful for.

If you want to take things a step further, perhaps a gratitude journal might help you to focus more.
