Today (February 14th, 2022) is Valentine’s Day, a day for love and happiness across the world. This day can spark many feelings, as well as perhaps even shift the content of your dreams; here is what a dream about Valentine’s Day could mean for you.

Dreams of romance are, as you may expect, a positive sign for your waking life. In your dream, when you are in love with someone, or someone is in love with you, then this suggests that soon you will receive a sizable amount of love and affection.

On the other hand, for those who are looking for love, finding a Valentine date within your dream may translate to reality, and you may find your other half very soon.

Dreams with this kind of positive energy that symbolise hope and love are very good for you, as while love may not be at the forefront of your mind, these dreams radiate happiness and an ability to see into the future with an open mind.

For those who have a partner, dreams about finding a Valentine speak volumes for your own relationship, telling you that it is going well, and that you both put in effort to remain happy and in love

However, if you are having issues within your relationship, try to fill Valentine’s Day with positivity and focus on the good times you have both had; this may not fix everything, of course, but it will pave the way to a brighter future.

These dreams are not usually about sex, but emotional closeness and the connection one feels within a relationship; this can mean that, if you are single, that you simply wish for someone to spend your time with.

If you have dreamt about becoming a Valentine, or someone accepting a Valentine’s gift from you, this can mean that love may not be too far away as this dream means you are likely to find someone.

If you are with someone, then this means that your relationship can only get better; if you live separately, this dream may indicate the relationship moving forward and you may move in together, for example.

Strengthening the bonds you have with an existing partner is always a wonderful thing, and can be done in so many ways; surprise one another with date ideas or simple stay at home plans, or plan a day filled with things your partner loves.

If your dream consisted of you being shot down by the person you love, then this is clearly a negative sign. Unrequited love does nothing in the way of positivity, and can make you feel rather small and even have a bad opinion about love.

However, even if you suffer rejection in your dream, this does not mean that your waking life will reflect this; many people believe that everything happens for a reason, so perhaps this dream may occur again, or even until you truly believe you have found ‘the one’.

Valentine’s Day can be a sad or a love-filled day, depending on who you are; if you don’t celebrate the day, perhaps take yourself out and treat yourself until the sun sets.

On the other hand, if you have a partner and wish to celebrate together, don’t let negative dreams hold you back; take note of any meanings, of course, but if you are happy in your relationship and your dreams are positive, then look forward to this special day with your loved one.
