The study was conducted by webuyanycar.com and shows the eccentric habits of British motorists.

Amongst the forgotten items were a blood transfusion machine found in Coventry, a four year out-of-date tin of baked beans found in Wrexham and a bag of horse manure found in Falkirk.

The baked bean tin, found wedged under the passenger seat, was found three years into the ownership, meaning that the owner had been chauffeuring the rotting beans for the entire time owning the vehicle.

One new owner received a pleasant surprise when they found an envelope containing £10,000 cash beneath the passenger seat. However, the seller later showed up to reclaim the money.
