Illicit Encounters.com has found that there are some distinct differences between women from the UK regions in what they find to be the most attractive qualities in a man. We find out what these specifications are and which celebs fit the bill!
Damian Lewis
Scotland: The perfect Scotsman is 6ft tall or over, medium build with strawberry blonde hair. He is strong willed, however embraces his sensitivity. He is strong but silent and shows you he loves you not by what he says but by what he does.
Jack Black
Wales: Welsh women like their men a lot shorter- a man who is 5ft 7 inches tall. He has dark hair and a bit of junk in the trunk to make him cuddly! He gets on with everyone and his top priority is to make people laugh.
Colin Farrell
Ireland: Irish women like them taller than Welsh women but a lot shorter than the Scots at 5ft 10. They also like them dark haired as do the Welsh ladies, but instead of pinching an inch, they prefer their men to be toned. They like their men to be intense- a man who enjoys the active side of life and a damn good time. All the while looking rather tasty while doing it!
Idris Elba
The Midlands: These women like their men to be real men. Strong, reliable, a good laugh who their girlfriends will love. Toned and like the Scottish ladies- tall- around 6ft- they have to be ready to defend their honour, while still having a soft and gooey centre!

South of England: Women from these parts like their man to be tall, around 5ft 11 inches, just not topping the six foot mark! They are also a fan of the dark haired hero, proving that this is certainly a popular hair colour for most women on their men. They like a man who can challenge them intellectually and strive to find a mental connection. Ambition is a very attractive quality in a man for the women of the south! It’s a good job they are living in the south then!

North of England: The northerners want height! 6ft is the ideal amount of tall for these ladies! They like a strong and muscular physique and want to be spoiled to within an inch of their lives. They like a man who is dependable and hard working.
