We are just a few weeks away from the release of Inherent Vice and we have two great new character posters from the film to share with you.
Josh Brolin and Reese Witherspoon are just two of the A-list names that are on board the cast list and they will be taking on the roles of Detective Jr. 'Bigfoot' Bjornsen and Deputy D.A. Penny Kimball and they feature in these two fantastic new pieces of artwork.
Inherent Vice is a big screen adaptation of the novel of the same name by Thomas Pynchon and sees Paul Thomas Anderson make a much-awaited return to the director's chair.
Brolin and Witherspoon are not the only names to watch out for on the cast list as Joaquin Phoenix, Eric Roberts, Maya Rudolph, Benicio Del Toro, Jena Malone, and Owen Wilson are all also on board.
When private eye Doc Sportello's (Phoenix) ex-old lady suddenly out of nowhere shows up with a story about her current billionaire land developer boyfriend whom she just happens to be in love with, and a plot by his wife and her boyfriend to kidnap that billionaire and throw him in a loony bin - well, easy for her to say.
It's the tail end of the psychedelic `60s and paranoia is running the day and Doc knows that 'love' is another of those words going around at the moment, like 'trip' or 'groovy,' that's being way too overused - except this one usually leads to trouble.
