Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Extraction has been building up to release for a while now, and finally came out on the 20th of last month (January, 2022), and this month (February, 2022), brings the game’s first ever post-launch event.

The new in-game event, titled Spillover, was released yesterday by Ubisoft, the producer of the game.

Rainbow Six Extraction is a one to three player co-op and tactical first-person shooter; players must create their own teams in order to launch assaults into chaotic containment areas.

Players need to fight against the alien threat, the Archæan, and discover all they can about their ever-changing enemies.

The new event, which is available now, is a Crisis Event, which are significant and limited time events where players must go up against colossal threats within the Containment Zone.

Within Spillover, Sprawl Colonies have spread themselves across the hot zones; players must gather their courage and utilise the brand new Dissolution Agent canisters in order to draw out the enemy and wipe them out.

In order to go face-to-face with the Archæan that threaten the lives of those who risk is all to rid the world of the Swarms of aliens, a well-thought-out and tactical approach is key.

Every player who logs into Spillover will get the exciting chance to earn the new and unique REACT tech, which includes the Auto-Turret, a deployable turret that automatically targets and attacks Archæans

As well as the thrilling arrival of Spillover in Rainbow Six Extraction, the game also welcomes Zofia, a popular Rainbow Six Operator who is known for her skill in survival; she is a significant asset to both the main game and the current Crisis Event.

By equipping additional defense REACT tech to Zofia’s Grenade Launcher, players can increase their chances for a successful attack.

Spillover isn’t the only Crisis Event that Ubisoft has planned for Rainbow Six Extraction; it would appear that the studio has more Events up their sleeve...
