The Author
Francesca Fratamico lives in Chichester and works in the hospitality industry. A Love Like Hell is her third book and the last in The Adriatic Trilogy, following Emeralds Among the Sand (2021) and Veils of Smoke (2022), both published by The Book Guild.
Francesca says, “This book is last book in The Adriatic Trilogy, and it is based in the town, Castelmauro, where my dad grew up. I wanted to draw heavily on his memories, whilst writing truthfully about local customs and society. The sections of the book based around the vineyard and farmland are written from the memories I have of my Nonno working his own land in the valley next to Castelmauro. The fire element was inspired by one summer where we drove past a massive field which was on fire, as farmers do this to burn the previous years unused harvest, which is illegal in Italy, due to the damage it can cause.”

A rethink on the traditional romance that can only be described as a 'contempory' romance, the third novel in the trio that cleverly bring the saga to its conclusion perfect and if you haven't read the other two do so before reading A Love Like Hell
