Toiletries- If your partner uses cotton pads as part of their daily beauty regime, then buy them a special pot and fill them with cotton wool balls or pads for the bathroom/bedroom. And if you are feeling really adventurous- get it engraved!

Cotton Candy- Go all American- take them to the fairground and get them some cotton candy or as we know it- candy floss.

A T-Shirt- Made from 100% cotton- you can get it with their favourite TV show emblazed across the front or even personalise it.

A Towel- A 100% cotton towel always comes in useful- in an overnight bag, a gym bag or to have out at home.

Bed Sheets- If you are looking for that touch of luxury in your bedroom, then buy a set of Egyptian cotton sheets and enjoy snuggling up in them together on your anniversary evening.

Apron- If you partner is keen cook or BBQ expert- then a cotton apron is the way to go to encourage their passion.

Handkerchiefs- More for the man than the lady- but handkerchiefs are perfect for popping in a coat pocket for when they get sick- which is inevitable. You could go plain or get some personalised or with a playful motif on to make them smile when they feel sorry for themselves.

Socks- Cotton socks are a practical gift but again you can go sensible or silly.

Dressing gown- Everyone loves to snuggle up in a dressing gown on a winter's eve or after a bath or shower- so for either sex- it's welcome when the temperature drops.

A Cotton Spool- Revert back to your childhood days and tie cotton around the house to lead him to another gift at the end. Or wrap their gift in brown paper and cotton string just like in the old days!
