Today is National Administrative Professionals Day- so to celebrate we thought we would shine a light on all those partners who keep their lovers organised and informed. Here are ten things you might find familiar if you’re in love with one of these people.

Your paperwork if filed neatly away- Whatever comes through the door, once you’ve looked at it decided it needs keeping- your partner will happily store it away somewhere safe for you. Anything else will be recycled or shredded.
They are in charge of your social schedule- You have a calendar on the wall and anything you need to know about goes on there- training courses, nights out, when you’re due to see the family and they remind you as each one approaches so you don’t forget. You rely on them to give you fun and exciting things to do on your date nights too.
If you need a document- you go to them- They know where everything is and it would take you an age to figure out their system- so if you need to lay your hands on a something important quickly- all you have to do is ask.
They anticipate things before they happen- When you are panicking over what to buy for your relative’s birthday last minute- they already have it covered. The card is written, the gift is bought and all you have to do is show up, deliver it in person and pretend you had something to do with it.
They are on top of your finances- They know when contracts expire, when things are up for renewal and when it’s time to compare prices. So, you never pay a penny more than you have to, you never have late charges or find yourselves wrapped up in unwanted contracts.
They are on the ball when it comes to sending out celebratory cards- They have a record of birthdays, anniversaries and weddings and send out cards to all of your family without you even knowing- but it’s one less thing for you to worry about.
They have been known to make or take calls on your behalf- If you have been wrapped up in work or in the middle of something at home- they think nothing of taking charge of conversations if it means making a plan that involves both of you.
They are the first person you go to when you need to write a formal letter or job application- They are on the ball when it comes to knowing what to write, how to set it out and who to address it to. They are your personal proof-reader before you send anything official out.
They prefer you to leave bookings to them- Holidays, hotels, tickets to comedy shows, theatre trips, concerts- anything like that- they like to do it themselves so they know it’s done properly.
They are experts in budgeting for your home- They know exactly what comes in and what goes out and how much you can afford at any one time. They keep you informed and you have access to everything you need to but they do like to keep a handle on your money so you don’t go into debt and live within your means each month.
