It's in a land far, far away- When you holiday in the UK, you're still relatively close to home and work. It feels less like a holiday and more like relocation. When you're miles from home, that holiday feeling kicks in as soon as you get on the plane because you're leaving 'base camp' behind.

You get to be big kids- You leave 'adult' at the door; all your responsibilities melt away as soon as you set foot through those gates. You get to be kids again and no one will judge you for it.

You get to take couply pictures with characters- You have so many pics of just the two of you- it's getting old- it's time you were snapped with your favourite childhood character.

It's hot- You get to walk around in shorts and t-shirts-something you would never be able to do at a UK theme park. It's not often you get to ogle at each other in skimpy clothes so put those sunglasses on and enjoy the view...

Your diet goes out the window- You can't possibly go to Walt Disney World without indulging in the cuisine while you're there, so just relax and embrace the muffin tops together.

You'll make memories- You might only be able to afford to go there once- so it will be a holiday neither of you will ever forget and you will have pictures, keepsakes and memories for the rest of your lives.

You won't get bored- Because of the sheer size of the parks, you will always have something to do. If you're one of those couples who needs to be entertained every hour of the day- there's always something going on to keep you occupied.

It will give you some well needed couple's time- Things can get in the way of this at home like work, DIY, hobbies, family responsibilities and time with friends. Leaving all that behind you will allow you some quality time with each other.

It will cheer you up- If things have been getting you both down lately it will put you in a better mood. It's called 'the happiest place on earth' for a reason- if you both feel happy, it will inevitably make your relationship happier too.

You can live out your childhood fantasy- If you want to meet a princess from your favourite Disney movie or pretend you're an astronaut in Mission: Space- you can do it and best of all- you can experience it with the person you love the most in the world.
