In the mid-eighties, Kidman dated her co-star from Windrider, Tom Burlinson and they lived together on and off for three years.

Kidman also dated and lived with Australian stage actor Marcus Graham in the late 1980s.

Robbie Williams claimed that the pair had a short romance on her yacht in 2004 following their duet to Frank Sinatra’s Something Stupid.

One of the most publicised Hollywood marriages and divorces of all time was when Kidman and Cruise got together and broke up. The pair met on the set of Days of Thunder in 1990. The actors got married on Christmas Eve in Telluride, Colorado. They adopted their children, Isabella Jane and Connor Anthony in 1992 and 1995 respectively.

In 2001, it was announced that they were separating and Cruise filed for divorce two days after it went public. The couple cited irreconcilable differences when it was dissolved in August of that year.

Kidman met Keith Urban at G’Day LA, an Australian event in 2005. They made their first appearance together as a couple at the 2006 Grammy Awards. The pair married only a year after they met on 25th June 2006 in Sydney.

A whole host of big names attended their wedding including Naomi Watts, Russell Crowe, Baz Luhrman (who read a psalm) and Hugh Jackman (who sang).

They both requested no presents at their wedding, but instead for contributions towards a humanitarian organisation. Despite not asking the guests to buy them anything- Urban still bought his new bride a present- a first edition of Emily Bronte’s Wuthering Heights (worth $200,000).

The newlyweds honeymooned in Tahiti and reportedly bumped into Eva Longoria and Tony Parker while they were there.

They now have homes together in Sydney, Los Angeles, Nashville and Sutton Forest.

In 2008, they had their first daughter; Sunday Rose, who was named after Urban’s late grandmother Rose.

Their second daughter Faith Margaret was born via a surrogate named after Kidman’s late grandmother Faith.

Happy Birthday Nicole!
