The good folks at Thorpe Park Resort have come up with ten reasons why theme parks make the best first date destinations- do you agree?

It's a great way to reveal your character! Does he run straight for the biggest rollercoaster? Does she prefer a calmer sail down the river on rapids? Your ride selection can say a lot about you as a person before you've even spoken to each other.
Queues are inevitable, but the time spent standing in line is the perfect place to have a chat and get to know each other a bit better.
You're never short of things to talk about! If your date isn't the most talented of conversationalists you can just chat about the ride you've just been on or the burger you've just scoffed!
Plenty of opportunities for intimacy. Ride seating arrangements often mean you have to get…cosy. The perfect excuse for a cheeky snuggle (if things are going well of course, if things aren't you'll just have to deal with that awkwardness unfortunately).
You don't have to take yourself too seriously. The pressure is completely off at a theme park and the relaxed and fun atmosphere means you can go totally crazy and your date won't ever catch on to the level of mental a relationship with you opens them up to. At least until the 2nd date anyway.
No pressure to dress to impress. You can dress like a total slob and your date can't judge you for it, because let's face it; it'd be pretty weird to wear heels or a suit to a theme park. So no need to spend ages pondering on the perfect outfit - just chuck on some jeans and trainers and you're good to go!
You don't have to order food conservatively. It's basically frowned upon to eat healthily at a theme park so it's perfectly OK to pig out without your date judging you. We'd probably draw the line at that 3rd tub of pick n' mix though…
You can impress your date without looking too try hard. Theme parks are packed with games and activities where it's socially acceptable to show off! And if you win you get to give your date a giant cuddly Rastafarian banana and walk around with it as a token of how awesome you are. Win win.
If your date is boring, the rides can entertain you instead! Sometimes, first dates are duds. It happens. At least you still have the UK's best thrill rides to keep you entertained whilst they blab on about themselves for the rest of the day.
Your adrenaline is pumping the whole day! The adrenaline rush you feel when you step off of one of our coasters for the first time is similar to the feeling you get when you fall in love. You start to sweat, your heart races and your mouth goes dry. Not exactly the most romantic of symptoms but at least you can cover the cringe-factor of being totally into them by blaming it on the rides!
