Miley and Liam

Miley and Liam

I am constantly getting messages over yin and yang about meeting people at work and how to deal with it. Now imagine meeting someone at work who you fancy but having half the world follow your every flirtatious move and date. Many of these celebrity couples suffered as a consequence, but there are a few who have managed to get the work/ relationship balance just right!

Courtney Cox and David Arquette

Cox and Arquette initially met on the set of the first Scream movie, where they starred alongside one another as the mismatched lovers Gale Weathers and Detective Dewey. They subsequently made three more movies together and started dating! The celebs married on the 12th June 1999 and had their daughter Coco in 2004. On 11th October it was announced that the couple were separating, however still remain close for their child and their business, Coquette.

Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux

Jen An and Theroux met on the set of Wanderlust, where Aniston plays city loathing Linda who travels with her husband George to a commune in an effort to try and escape the sting of unemployment. There she meets Seth (Theroux) - who interferes with their relationship when he sleeps with her as part of the free love that they adopt on the camp. The pair started dating in 2011 and bought a home together in LA costing 22 million! They finally got engaged on 12th August 2012.

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds

Lively and Reynolds first met on the set of Green Lantern as each other’s love interest; Hal and Carol. In 2010, however, Reynolds was still married to actress Scarlett Johansson. After he filed for divorce in 2011 and Lively finished with actor Leonardo DiCaprio the pair got together and married a year later in South Carolina.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie

The most talked about union of all time- Brangelina. They met on the set of Mr and Mrs Smith and were accused of having an affair behind Jen An’s back. Jolie denied the rumours, however admitted that the couple fell in love on the set. They kept it all under wraps until 2006, when Jolie announced that she was having Pitt’s baby. They then got engaged in April 2012.

Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams

Gosling and McAdams began dating after their steamy performance in The Notebook, in which they were nominated for best kiss! They went steady from 2005-2007, however broke up but didn’t leave it to rest and rekindled their love in 2008. The pair had not one, but two engagements once in 2006, the other in 2008.

Robert Patterson and Kristen Stewart

One of the most publicised break ups of the last few years. They met on the set of Twilight as the troubled lovers Bella and Edward. They didn’t confirm their relationship for four years but admitted in an interview that all the pictures made it obvious that they were a couple (GQ). Stewart officially revealed their relationship in 2012, however was photographed not long after with her director from Snow White and the Huntsman, Rupert Sanders and they parted ways.

Jude Law and Sienna Miller

Their romance blossomed while filming Alfie in 2003 and subsequently got engaged on Christmas Day 2004. In July 2005, Law issued a public apology to Miller for his affair with their nanny and they broke it off in 2006. The actors tried to patch things up in late 2006, but then broke up again. One of the only couples from the ten that are still holding strong!

The actors met on the film set of Pearl Harbour and then again on Daredevil and got engaged only 9 months after they first began dating! They got married in 2005 in a secluded ceremony north of the Dominican Republic. The happy couple now have three children together: Violet Anne, Seraphina Rose and Samuel.
