Michelle Williams celebrates her 34th birthday today so we have a sneaky peek at her loves over the years.
Williams first famous boyfriend and fiancé was Heath Ledger, who she met on the set of Brokeback Mountain in 2004, a film in which they were both nominated for Oscars.
In April 2005, it was announced that they were expecting their first child together and Williams gave birth to a daughter Matilda Rose Ledger.
The couple lived together in New York- but by September 2007, they ended their relationship after three years. Ledger then died in 2008 from an accidental overdose. She told Elle magazine; "I didn't know where to go. I couldn't imagine any place in the world that was gonna feel good to me." (Wikipedia)
More recently, when reflecting on his death, she said; ‘In a strange way, I miss that year, because all those possibilities that existed then are gone. It didn't seem unlikely to me that he could walk through a door or could appear from behind a bush. After his death Williams gave very few interviews as the media attention spun back on her. She eventually told the press that his spirt is still in his daughter.
