Keanu Reeves celebrates the big 5-0 today as we have a look back over his love life.
Reeves’ most significant relationship is one of sadness. Reeves met Jennifer Syme around about the time she was an assistant to director David Lynch and the couple dated casually from 1998.
In December 1999, he was expecting a child with Syme, actress and production assistant, however the baby was stillborn, as she (Ava Archer) arrived prematurely after an 8 month pregnancy. They separated after that, however it was reported that they were still good friends.
Just eighteen months later Syme died in a car crash.
Reeves was supposed to be filming back to back Matrix movies at the time, however he took some time out to seek ‘peace and time to deal with this’ according this friend Bret Domrose, his fellow band member in Dogstar. (Wikipedia)
