The 'Safe' star returns to the big screen this week for some more action

The typical British lad started his career back in 1998 in the incredibly successful Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels alongside a star studded cast including Vinnie Jones, Dexter Fletcher and Nick Moran.

Lock, Stock Director Guy Ritchie was a fan of Jason’s work and was impressed with his performance so cast him in his film Snatch in 2000.

Jason became synonymous with action films and as well as appearing in many British ones, he also bagged the lead role in the American hit, The Transporter in 2002.

This role firmly fit him in among the great action hero’s and saw him go on to make another two Transporter films, Transporter 2 in 2005 followed in 2008 by Transporter 3.

In 2010 he got to star alongside some of the biggest action stars in the world. His role as Lee Christmas in The Expendables saw him take on a range of explosions, car chases and shoot outs alongside Sylvester Stallone, Jet Li, Mickey Rourke and Bruce Willis.

His other works include The Mechanic, Blitz, and Killer Elite in which he starred alongside Robert De Niro and fellow Brit, Clive Owen.

His latest film see’s him reunite with his The Expendables cast with the addition of Chuck Norris, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Liam Hemsworth.

Now that’s a film worth seeing, even if it’s just to ogle the Stath and Hemsworth!
