The news has left people questioning what this news means for their relationship because if he cheated on a Kardashian then there’s not much hope for us. Unfortunately, it has been found that cheating is more common than you might think; nearly 50% of men have admitted to straying from their partner. However, men are not the only culprits, as over a fifth of women have also admitted to infidelities. Seemingly, it's becoming increasingly difficult to find a faithful life partner.

Before you give up on love completely, there is still hope. Sex and relationships expert Tami Rose explains that this is no reason to instantly presume your other half is cheating. The best way to put your mind at rest is by building trust between you and your partner. Here are her five top tops to help you know how:

Be Forgiving

In any relationship there’s going to be disagreements and you must tell your partner when you’re upset with them, so you can work on it together. Listen to what they say and try to be forgiving. In turn, be ready to receive feedback yourself. This isn’t an invitation to criticise each other, make your thoughts constructive and think of a way to move forward together.

Be Reliable

Communication is key. You need to make an effort to stick to plans but understandably this may not always be possible. If you said you’re going to be home by 7 and you get caught up, let your partner know. This isn’t about keeping tabs on each other but having respect for them by keeping them updated. This will promote an environment of consistency and security.

Be Open

There’s no room for secrets or lies in a relationship. If you lie about something small then you partner will presume you’re also lying about the bigger things. You also need to allow yourself to become vulnerable, this will show that you trust them and make them more comfortable opening up.

Be on the same page

Make sure you agree and commit to mutual values. There are different levels of commitment and you need to establish where you’re at. There’s nothing worse than thinking your relationships is more serious or long term than the other person involved. Make sure you’re honest with them, and yourself, about what you want out of the relationship.

Be free in the bedroom

Between the sheets is the best place to build trust because this is when everything is literally stripped bare. It’s where you put your trust to the test by understanding and respecting your partner. The more you trust each other the more likely you are to let go and start being more adventurous. This is why I always advise my customers that trust is vital because what better incentive than a better sex life.
