If you saw or ate toast in your dream- it's possible you have an appreciation for the simpler things in life and don't need lots of money and material possessions to make you happy. You realise the importance, the significance, the worth and value of the smaller things in your waking life.

If the toast was burned, perhaps you are feeling intense passion for someone right now and it's all consuming. Is it time you told this person how you feel or if it's an unhealthy passion or one that's not reciprocated- do you need to divert your attention elsewhere?

The dream could be a pun for something that is done or over- a relationship, job, friendship or project is 'toast'. Perhaps you need to accept that it's come to a close and move on.

Another interpretation of toast is your ability to achieve things in life. You are an achiever but you feel the need to openly share your accomplishments in order for others to appreciate your value.

Toast can also represent speed- perhaps you are quick to come up with solutions to problems, quick witted and quick thinking. If so, the dream could be telling you to keep going if it's all to your benefit. Alternatively, you may be quick to come up with excuses or lies for why you have not done something. Do you need to channel this energy into something more worthwhile?
