You might not have heard about Natalia Elenkina yet, but you can expect to hear about her in the next few months. Natalia is a model from the world of Instagram, effortlessly making her way in the world with a personal photographer and a handful of hangers-on.

We caught up with Natalia while she was in Hollywood to gauge what this lovely lady would get up to next.

The Interview…

Q: So, Natalie, it’s great to have you here; it’s fascinating.

A: Oh, you’re welcome; it’s so lovely to be here.

Q: We wondered why you were in Hollywood? Is it a holiday…?

A: (laughs) sort of. We have been working up and down the country now, doing photo shoots. We try to release one or two good images every week; then, of course, I have to work and send photos to the brands and followers.

Q: It’s a working holiday, then?

A: Yes and no. My agent wanted me to talk to some people through here. It’s a long way from home, though, so I don’t know.

Q: Can we expect to see you on our screens soon then?

A: No, no, not at all. We were just talking about brand work. Since my Instagram took off, people want me to use their products for free advertising, you know? An influencer, I think you call it. I just call it lucky.

Q: Well, yes, it’s fortunate indeed when people send you free stuff!

A: Absolutely! But I do work hard, you know, so it doesn’t always seem accessible.

Q: What does a day in the life of Natalia Elenkina look like? Do you work all day?

A: Not all day; I usually power down for a few hours between 6 and 9 pm. Then it’s an early bed for my beauty sleep. In the mornings, I start at 5, 6, or maybe 7; it just depends on the day. I get up and work out for a few hours, then hair and makeup show up, and I spend a half-hour looking beautiful. Then it’s photoshoots for the day. We usually work through lunch, so I am always super hungry when we finish at teatime. It’s a long day, but it’s worth it. When you see the work at the end, and it’s all finished… It’s worth it.

Q: It sounds like a long shift for you. Do you ever take time off?

A: Yes! And then I come to Hollywood and do interviews! It makes a nice change to the schedule.

Q: I bet it does. I’d love to come out for the day if my schedule was as hectic as yours! It’s been wonderful to have you here, Natalia, and we wish you every success in the future.

A: Thanks!
