A woman has revealed she's been the victim of a fake marriage proposal.

The unnamed woman has been with her boyfriend for years and over the Christmas period, she was kidded into thinking he was finally set to pop the question.
But as it turned out, it was a prank on his part.
In the video clip, he gets down on his knee and says: "I love you so much, it's been six years ..."
But as he opens the box and convinces his girlfriend he's poised to propose, he reveals he's actually tricked her.
He says: "Will you please ... take these earrings?"
