The ''curious'' teenager has had to have surgery after he stuck a USB cable up 20cm up his urethra and it knotted in his bladder.
He was taken to a local hospital in the county of Linkou in China's north-eastern Heilongjiang province, where medics tried and failed to remove the cable with lubrication, leaving the boy in intense pain.
When this did not work, the unnamed boy was sent to the Harbin Children's Hospital, where he was operated on by resident urologist, Doctor Xu Liyan.
The teenager was discharged from hospital last Tuesday (03.07.18) , two weeks after his surgery.
