A small pug has sent the Internet wild with its hilarious ape-like scream when the animal is getting his nails cut at the vets.

The cute dog appears to be having a grooming nightmare when two vets approach him with a pair of clippers which leads him to let out the shocking wail and make a face of pure terror.
The chestnut coloured pug appeared to be at ease when he was being held however as soon as the animal gets sight of the shiny object, he frantically moves his back legs whilst the other approaches him with the metal nail clippers which spurs on the animal's hilarious reaction.
The two veterinary surgeons are left in stitches as they chuckle away whilst attempting to shorten the pup's claws, although the animal was not amused.
