Donna Patrick requested for the cheeky message - 'I'm glad that you were the strongest sperm'- to be written in icing across her daughter Elice's 18th birthday but was turned down by the store.

Days after she ordered the cake, Patrick received a call informing her that it was against "rules and regulations" and was forced to change the message to a mundane 'Happy 18th Birthday' instead.

She also suggested that those who asked for swear words on their cake would have had their request granted and believes that Elice would have found the message hilarious.

Patrick told The Sun newspaper: “M&S have lost their sense of humour.

"If I’d sworn I would get it, or if it was completely offensive.”
