A man won $150,000 after misreading his lottery ticket.

Aweis Mohamed went to collect his prize in North Carolina believing that he had won $1,000 but received a pleasant surprise when he was told he had claimed a much bigger jackpot.
Mohamed said: "My heart just dropped.
"I scanned the one I won, and it said take it to the lottery headquarters. And when I took it, I thought I won $1,000 and the lady said I won $150,000 and that I had to come to Raleigh."
Mohamed was astonished by his big lottery win and now plans to spend to help pay off his mortgage.
He told Fox 8: "I had to see it to believe it. I told myself to stay positive and stay humble, and if it's your time, it's your time."
