Big Brother Canada continues to roll on with its veterans and newbies-infused fifth season, and this week yet another returning player was sent to the Jury House in Bruno Ielo. We got the chance to chat to Bruno about his experience in the house, his favourite players, who he hopes is next out of the house and more…

Now that you’ve had a little time to reflect on your time in the house, how do you feel about your whole BBCAN5 experience?

I loved it. The fact that I got to play a second time; I’m very privileged and very thankful for it. I thought the experience was great; what a season to be a part of and I’m so happy that they chose me to play.

How different was this time in the house when compared to your original season?

This season was amped up to the max. I noticed the difference from the second I walked in the door. The game was on and it was definitely the best season to be a part of and I could feel it while I was playing it, that this would be the best season yet.

Do you think you played the best game you could have while in the house?

You know, I think I did what I could do with the tools that I had. There are definitely some things that I wish I could have done differently; sometimes I [could have] spoken up a little bit more. I did try my best but I guess it wasn’t good enough this time around.

There are only two vets left in the house; where did it go wrong for you guys?

I think it went wrong week one. There were cracks forming within the vets right away and it was just hard to put it back together. So, week one, the vets stopped trusting each other, and it just went downhill from there.

Who were some of your favourite people to play with this season?

Oh there are so many. I definitely loved playing with Kevin, I LOVED playing with Karen; she’s definitely my favourite cast ever in any season. Emily and Dillon; I really enjoyed my time with Emily in the house, I thought she was so funny and she kept me laughing. Same with Karen, I love them all. Great cast, there’s so many to choose from.

Despite being evicted you are on Jury; how does that feel?

It doesn’t feel great, but it’s fine. I definitely was hoping to take it all the way, but I’ll be able to go into Jury and reflect and just enjoy it and have fun, I’m gonna have fun with it, so it’s not that bad.

Who do you hope is evicted next from the house and why?

I have two parts to this question. I would love to see Dre evicted because I don’t wanna see her win this season, but putting that aside I would like to see Demetres or Ika walk in, just so I could say, ‘You should have listened to me; I was right. They were all coming for you, I told you, you didn’t listen and now we’re both here and we have a lot of time to talk about it.’ But in reality I’d love to see Dre walk through those doors.

Who do you think has the best shot at making final three at this point?

Karen has a good shot, Jackie might, it’s hit or miss with her, depends how this week goes, and Dre. Maybe even William. I’m gonna say maybe William, Dre and Karen.

And who would you LIKE to make it to final three?

I would like to see Demetres, Ika and Kevin. I think those three people deserve to win, but, that’s not gonna happen. I would like to see either a Karen, Kevin and whoever, and I wanna see Kevin take it home.

Who was the hardest houseguest to live with this year and why?

There’s a few to choose from for sure! Probably Karen, Dillon, Dre… There’s a lot to choose from. Take your pick! There’s a lot. Just the things they did. Dillon would sing a lot, say annoying things, but I loved playing with and hanging out with him. Karen; just her spats and stuff, but again I enjoyed her. There’s positives and negatives to everything, but I really enjoyed playing with them for sure.

What was your biggest highlight from your time in the house?

By far the Canada 150 party, it was unbelievable. Big Brother put on such a good show with the fireworks, let us see our families, I got to see my wife and my kids, and I got to see everybody else’s families as well. That was by far my favourite moment in the house.

Big Brother Canada continues Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays on Global.
