British women are getting more bang for their bonk according to a new poll by Smile Makers.

Flowers go a long way!

Flowers go a long way!

Most women rate themselves as 'very sexually satisfied' and 'adventurous' in the bedroom- 'good for them' I hear you say (through gritted teeth).

Men get bad press for being selfish with their sex- but hold the phone- 45% of men want their partner to get their jollies before they do. Where are these men?! Are they local? Only one in five women give a damn about their partner's orgasm- the rest feel obligated to their 'o' first.

78% of women are likely to achieve an orgasm during a sexual experience- well wyy wouldn't they if they focus on their foo foo first?!

By thirty, women have reached their sexual confidence peak- but poor blokes have to wait another three years before they feel they can wave their wanger around with no inhibitions.

Mattias Hulting, co-founder said: "In recent years, there are a number of cult female icons across the world moving things forward in terms of wider conversations around sex.

"Women have of course always had desires in the bedroom, but the difference is now they're liberated to speak out about it, and why not?

"Sex is no longer a taboo, however self-pleasure surprisingly still seems to be.

"Changing perceptions of products like vibrators is hard and attitudes towards masturbation are even harder.

"Every woman should feel confident, self-assured and happy, with or without a partner."

When it comes to dropping the hint that they want a hump, 84% of women are a-ok with this and will initiate sex once a week. Steady now!

Women believe their appetite for action is down to their sex drive, which far exceeds that of their partner and their confidence and appetite for adventure. Yes, that'll do it!

Some women are just control freaks and like to take charge- like cleaning- if they don't ask- it doesn't get done.

For the women who feel their lover has got lazy, they will find something- anything to season their sex life with a bit more spice.

Sex isn't enough for these ladies' libidos as they also masturbate regularly- because it 'feels good' they say- really I hadn't noticed…

So what's the answer when your partner has flaked out next to you and your fingertips have gone wrinkly? A vibrator of course! 56% of women are ahead of the game and already own one and those left have thought about it- maybe had a sneaky look online at the endless possibilities in self-care.

Eight in ten men regularly pleasure themselves- but they don't need bells and whistles on their wa*k just their hand will do.

Even though it's totally natural to go from nice to naughty when you're alone over a third of women believe that it's more acceptable for men to tickle the pickle than the ladies.

Four in ten men consider it a taboo conversation at home- what do these men talk about with their partners seriously?! I thought 'burping the worm' was a staple conversation for every couple? No?

Pedder Wikström, also a co-founder of Smile Makers said: "In the last two years we have spoken with close to 10,000 women across the world, and attitudes are surprisingly similar.

"Whether in South-East Asia or Western Europe, we find that more than two-thirds of women have either used a vibrator or are positively curious to try one.

"Despite this, vibrators are still marketed as a speciality product for sex stores.

"We want women to have the confidence and empowerment to not feel ashamed of anything they are curious about."
