Tom Barry, Author of When The Siren Calls, hosted the event and couldn’t have been happier with the result.
He said, “The party was a huge success and gave me an exceptional opportunity to share my journey with people; from senior management consultant to published author.
“The reception to WTSC has been phenomenal already and we’re excited about the next phase – a press trip to Tuscany in early 2013 – which inspired much of the writing for this first book in The Siren Calls trilogy.”
The event saw 60 guests enjoy an evening filled with Italian canapés and champagne, as well as being given When The Siren Calls goody bags to enjoy at home.
The launch, held at London’s glamorous Grace Bar, gave guests the opportunity to mingle with Tom as well as picking up a copy of the book for themselves.
Due to part of the book being set in Tuscany, guests were also entered into a competition to win three nights free accommodation, including flight transfers from a local airport, at Florence’s Relais La Corte di Cloris, in association with Delicious Italy.
When The Siren Calls follows Isobel, a neglected wife who seeks solace in Jay, an enigmatic character who encourages Isobel to push her sexual boundaries.
Isobel finds herself in an unbearable love triangle which will push her to her limits. It’s a great read for those who are a fan of erotic novels and has been named the ‘thinking woman’s Fifty Shades’.
