Lovestruck.com found that people start to boost their dating chances in the summer by changing their profile to make it more attractive.

Nearly a third of people will change or upload a new profile picture in the summer months, showing off their tanned, gorgeous bodies to the world.

The majority of dating profiles were found to be edited and rewritten in July and August, showing that people are more open and eager to find love when the sun is shining.

Brits are also flirting more, with a 27 per cent increase of singles messaging until midnight during the summer months, even on a work night!

Dating is definitely becoming more flexible, as the summer sees Brits ditching the formal dinner and getting a bit creative with their dates.

There has been a 23 per cent rise in people going out on picnic lunch dates, which means they’re also spending their time wisely – dating in the day and spending time with friends in the evening.

Now for the hot stuff – a quarter of Brits said they are more likely to sleep with someone on the first date in the summer!

And a very brave 2 per cent also said that they would take their frisky antics outside.
