There's no rush- It's date night- meaning it's probably not a school night, you don't have to get up for any reason- so just take your time and enjoy. You might not get the opportunity to have another date night for a while so make the most of it.

It gives you longer to talk- You might spend the majority of your meal talking about work and your schedule but as the meal draws to a close it's when the more interesting conversations start to come alive!

Treat yourselves- If you were to have dessert every night you would live in the gym and your food bills would soar. Once in a while you just need to go for it and it will feel more like an indulgence rather than an extension of a normal night in if you only do it once in a blue moon.

You can share- You can create your very own Lady and the Tramp moment and feed each other spoonfuls of your dessert. It will make the other diners jealous!

It will satisfy your need for something sweet- You can guarantee that if you skip dessert you'll be reaching for something when you get home to satisfy those urges. If you get it out of the way, when you return home you can just concentrate on each other without the distraction.

Order something chocolatey- Chocolate contains phenylethylamine (PEA) which stimulates the same mood altering endorphins that are released during sex thus enhancing the attraction between you and your partner.

Or something fruity- Choose desserts that have bananas, figs, pomegranates or dates as they have all been found to increase libido. Dates and figs are laden with amino acids- perfect for sexual stamina and the bromelain enzyme in bananas will boost your sex drive. Pomegranates help the body to produce NO or nitric oxide which aids in opening up the blood vessels to increase blood flow to all parts of the body-including the genitals.
