They help you in any way they can- With job applications, money, CVs, proof reading, forms, revision, pep talks, lists- anything you need to get to your desired destination.

They will give you a reality check- If what you're doing will only prolong the time it takes to reach your dream- they will give you a little nudge in the right direction.

They publicly praise you- The effort you're putting in has not gone unnoticed by your partner but everyone else might not realise what you're sacrificing. Your partner tells everyone and anyone what you've achieved already because they are proud of you.

They celebrate with you- When you finally get there- they are the first to congratulate you and tell you they never doubted you for a second.
