Grey's Anatomy

Grey's Anatomy

I don't know what it is about uniforms that make men more attractive. Could it be the smell of success of a man in a suit or that air of being a caretaker when a man is dressed in a fireman's outfit? Uniform Dating investigated!

A uniform sets apart someone from the rest of the crowd as being not only suave and sophisticated but also capable of disarming tense situations as well as often having superior intelligence.

Uniform Dating found that out of 1,000 men and women, 45% of men and 35% of women found an A and E doctor to be the most attractive of all the professional costumes!

Their reason? That the person would have calming effect on their relationship! Another surprising appeal of an A and E doctor is their ability to problem solve which is apparently high on a list of dating priorities, as well as having a fast response in a sticky spot! So deciding where to eat is easy because they will be able to choose much faster than you can!

It is no shock that A and E dramas have cast good looking people in the roles of A and E doctors. Take Ellen Pompeo and Katherine Heigl, who have lead roles as Meredith Grey and Izzie Stephens in Grey's Anatomy.

Who can forget the lovely George Clooney as Dr Doug Ross and Noah Wyle as Dr John Carter in ER? And my personal favorite Derek 'McDreamy' Shepherd (Patrick Dempsey) in Grey's Anatomy will always have a place in my heart!

Uniform dating asked their participants if they found doctors attractive and 85% said a resounding 'yes!'

When it got down to the nitty gritty of why they found them to hotter than the rest, 43% said it was their intelligence and 41% of women said that a commitment to helping people is a huge turn on!

18% of men liked female doctors because they wore a plain white coat, which exerts a certain dominance. Well, that and the fact that they could imagine them at home with a pair of heels nothing else underneath the white coat ;)

42% of men admitted to flirting with a doctor while they were being treated, to take their mind off the pain perhaps?!

29% thought that dating a surgeon would make he or she good with their hands, gentle and thorough!

18% of future orientated women said that they would like to date pediatrician as they would be good with kids.

7% were bold in revealing that they would like to date a gynecologist because they would know their way around the female anatomy!

But as the gynecologist says in Friends to Rachel,

Dr. Franzblau: I try not to let my work affect my personal life, but it's hard, when you... do what I do. It's like uh...Well, for instance, what do you do?

Rachel: I'm a waitress

Dr. Franzblau: Okay, all right, well aren't there times when you come home at the end of the day, and you're just like, "If I see one more cup of coffee..."
