On 18th June 2008, Wilson married Dagmara Dominczyk, a Polish-American actress who graduated from Carnegie Mellon in 1998, before he did in 1995.
They have two children together, Kalin Patrick Wilson on 23rd June 2006 and Kassian McCarrell Wilson, who was born on 9th August 2009.
The currently live in Montclair New Jersey.
It was rumoured that Wilson had a fling with actress Scarlett Johansson, however they were never exclusive and the relationship didn’t last very long.
Between 2001-2002, Wilson was also romantically involved with Jennifer Love Hewitt, after she saw him in the theatre adaptation of The Full Monty, while she was still dating Rich Cronin. The pair were snapped together at several events during this year.
