Taylor Swift and Harry Styles

It almost seems to be written in the stars that every relationship poor Taylor Swift has is bound to end in tragedy.

This latest one being her relationship with One Direction member Harry Styles, which is rumoured to have ended after a huge row between the pair whilst they were on holiday in the British Virgin Islands.

We've decided to take a look a Taylor's romantic past to try and see where she's going wrong!

Joe Jonas

Taylor was dating Joe Jonas back in 2008 and the pair kept pretty quiet about their relationship whilst together.

Things seemed to go quickly downhill and once the pair had broken up, it became big news in Hollywood.

In true Taylor fashion, she wrote a song about the break up titled 'Forever and Always' and Joe will forever be shamed for breaking up with Taylor by phone!

Taylor Lautner

The pair started dating in 2009 when they 'fell in love' on the set of Valentine's Day which coincidently saw them being an on-screen couple too.

We had plenty of giggles over the fact that she was dating someone with the same name but we couldn't help thinking that it was a nifty plan to promote the film.

Unfortunately, the pair didn't last and split up later that year.

John Mayer  

He was 13 years her senior but that didn't stop Taylor Swift getting her claws into the talented musician.

They had duetted together before they allegedly began dating in 2009 but as always, it was going to end in tears and another song.

Taylor apparently wrote a number of songs about Mr Mayer, the most famous being 'Dear John'

Jake Gyllenhaal

It would appear that Taylor has a thing for older men as she then moved on to the then 30-year-old Jake Gyllenhaal.

The pair began dating in late 2010 and had a very public relationship, often spotted out and about on dates.

Taylor once again had her heart broken as Jake allegedly wasn't feeling the relationship anymore and could really feel the 10 year age gap between them.

Zac Efron

Just like Taylor Lautner, this relationship seemed very convenient. At the time Taylor Swift and Zac Efron began dating, they were promoting their film The Lomax.

They were seen on a number of occasions together although both of the stars denied they were dating.

Recently, however, Ellen DeGeneres said that they had in fact been a couple, so we're inclined to believe her!

Garrett Hedlund

This was possibly one of Taylor's most brief relationships, if it was actually a relationship to start with.

The couple were seen going out for dinner together in 2011 and this sparked dating rumours.

Apparently, it was their first outing together after they had been emailing constantly and Taylor had suggested they date.

Eddie Redmayne

Rumour has it that Taylor and Eddie were dating when she auditioned for the part of Eponine in Les Miserables.

They were seen a lot in New York together whilst the auditions were taking place and it was rumoured that Taylor had fallen for Eddie fast.

The pair broke it off in February 2012 having apparently dated for four months as Eddie couldn't commit to the long distance relationship.

Conor Kennedy

Apparently, Taylor loved the Kennedy's so it only made sense that she begin to date 18-year-old Conor Kennedy early this year.

The relationship got serious very quickly and the pair were glued at the hip for months and months.

Taylor even reportedly bought a house right next to the Kennedy compound so that she could be closer to her beau.

Sadly, in October the couple called it quits after it was reported they hadn't seen each other for a month.

Luckily, Taylor got some songs out of the situation for her new album - silver lining and all.

Harry Styles

Without even giving herself time to breath, Taylor moved onto British heartthrob Harry Styles.

He's often known as One Direction's bad boy and does like himself an older woman so Taylor was in luck!

The pair were seen together on many occasions over their one month relationship, going on many vacations together in their spare time.

Unfortunately, the couple have now reportedly split after things turned sour on their holiday in the British Virgin Islands.

I think it's safe to say she'll have a lot of material for her next album, we're expecting 'Dear Harry' to be put into production soon.
