Try to remember that perfection doesn’t exist, and that happiness is within your reach if you don’t except it to be idealistic.

You want everything to work out- as everyone does- but don’t put too much pressure on it. There will still be rough with the smooth.

It’s possible you yearn for the support of others and you feel you aren’t getting it at present. Do you need to ask, for it rather than simply expect it?

Do you expect too much from people in general? Remember, they can’t make your life perfect, only you can- so don’t rely on them too much to make you happy.

Perhaps you are trying to get away from the difficulties that plague your life right now.

The dream is a reminder to you that there is hope in your situation and to not lose faith.

If you were being denied into heaven, it’s possible someone or something is standing in your way of happiness. Consider that this barrier might be coming from you too if you are riddled with jealousy or anxiety.

If you have suffered from a lot of physical or emotional pain lately, perhaps you are seeking an escape. You want to be free of these feelings for a while to get some respite.

People often dream about heaven before they do something out of character- that they consider to be bad. If you are on the cusp of doing something you know to be wrong- perhaps you need to rethink it and trust your gut. If you think no good will come from it- you’re probably right.

If you were entering heaven, then you are coping with all the highs and lows in your life with dignity and grace. You know that life often throws you off course, but you have the strength and optimism to carry on regardless.

Perhaps you are refusing to deal with something and it’s stopping you from moving forward. It’s possible something still feels too raw to deal with yet, so you may just need more time. What are you trying to suppress? What do you find difficult to admit? Perhaps you already know what it is you are trying to avoid- but you need to be honest with yourself before you can address them. Groundhogs are also symbols of hard work- do you burrow in and keep going until you have finished with something? This might describe you and the dream is acting as a reminder to be continually tenacious.
