Dreaming about a dress can represent compliance and obedience. Perhaps you are doing something at present in your working or personal life and it doesn’t necessarily feel right or like you. You may be doing something in your professional life that you don’t really believe in or are putting on a front in your relationship for the benefit of your partner.

Another interpretation is that you have a feminine outlook on a situation in your waking life, you are expressing your feminine side in your waking life or you want to be more feminine than you are.
If you are a man dreaming about wearing a dress then you may be questioning your sexuality right now.
If the dress was long and covered up most of your body then you may be feeling protected. It’s possible this is a result of someone taking good care of you or a defence mechanism you have developed to prevent harm to yourself.
If the dress was short and exposed a lot of your flesh them you may feel that you’re on display and everyone is talking about you and judging you for whatever reason.
