A young daughter bought her mum an accidental rude present from France.

Eiffel Tower

During her trip to the French capital, the nine year old thought she was buying her mum an Eiffel Tower candle, but when she gave it to her, her mum didn't know what to do when she saw it was a penis candle.

She wrote on Mumsnet: ''HELP! My DD (darling daughter) bought me a penis candle!

''Dd in year 9 got back from her French exchange in Paris yesterday - she bought presents for me, Dh and both her siblings.

''One problem - she bought me what she thought was an innocent Eiffel Tower candle. It clearly isn't.

''Should I break it to her? I honestly don't think she did realise - she's at a girl's school and very innocent/naïve for her age.

''I asked her why it was shaped like that, and she said she thought it was just a candle shape on top of an Eiffel Tower base.''
